The
Visit
tab
The
Visit screen has all the recall and appointment
information
on your patient. Before making an appointment for a patient you come to
this
screen to check on their visit status. At a glance this screen shows
you:
- Three Recall Dates
that show you what the patient needs and when.
- The second section has Last
and Next Visits information.
This section is not as important as the third section when using the
Appointments
scheduler.
- All current Appointments
in the System for this patient
are listed in the third section. To schedule an appointment for this
patient
you select how many wees ahead the appointment is for and click the Make
Appointment button. To learn more
about scheduling
please read the Appointments
chapter. The field No Show Count
adds up how many "no show" visits this patient has (NS). When a patient
does not show up for a visit change the Visit For... field to "NS".
- The fourth section as all Appointments
in Archive for
the patient. To read more about how appointments are archived click here.
Recall
Information
There are three separate recall dates per patient. You can associate
each Date with a Visit and Description (such as chest x-ray, FBS, pap smear,
vaccinations, etc) and one Examiner.
- Each Recall
date
has an associated date fill icon
. This calculates the
recall date as being the either the most recent appointment
date for the patient, or the date in Last Visit if filled, plus
the Visit Interval is associated wth the patient's primary
diagnosis, or selected by clicking in the field and making a selection
in months! If there is no numbers entered these are the internal
defaults
- 36 months for patients up
to 49 years old
- 24 months for ages 50 to 59
- 12 months for patients 60
and older
- To clear a Recall
date click its clear icon
.
Last and Next Visits
The fields in this section are not used when you are using the
integrated appointment scheduler,
with the exception of the Next Reason field which fills with
"CX"
if a patient cancels and does not reschedule an appointment.
